Halloween Bathroom Decor

Today we wanted to write about Halloween bedding, but we couldn't find any, so we turned our attention towards other 'Halloween Home Accents' instead.  We found some really cool stuff, and Mom always says "The Devil is in the details, and you can be sure we aren't going to miss any.

There are lots of great little Halloween accents for the home, and Mom said too many to list them all in one post, so we'll go room by room over the next few days.  Today, we're going to start with the bathroom decor.

Since bathrooms are small, and Halloween is big, it's easy to overlook the simple decorations you can add to it to really make the whole house a shrine to this most awesomely fun holiday of the year.  With just a few, inexpensive items from Amazon, you can rest assured that your bathroom won't feel left out of the Halloween fun, and possibly conjure up some spookiness just to scare you.

Here are the perfect additions we found for including your bathroom in the Halloween decorations...

The toilet paper butler... he may or may not bite.  Be careful with this one, your guests may be too afraid to reach for the tissue that this Skeleton Toilet Paper Holder is offering.  If they don't come out in 5-10 minutes, you might want to check on them.  It is a permanent fixture, so you will have to screw it into the wall.  So if you don't plan to keep it up year round, a little spackle and a touch of paint will repair those holes after the holiday.  There are probably some other workaround ideas I haven't thought of yet either.  The reviews say that it's huge, so it will definitely attract attention.  You should read the reviews too, they're hilarious with the ideas people have come up with for this piece, like naming them, dressing them up, and even painting them with glow in the dark paint.

Ok, so, really, white towels are dirt cheap, and Mom has about a dozen recipes for homemade paints, so we could make these a lot cheaper than what it would cost to buy them.  Plus Mom likes any craft that keeps my brother and me busy and out of her hair, so we'll probably get to make these.  But if you're just too busy, or whatever, Amazon does sell these Bloody Hand Print Hand Towels. They also sell a bloody shower curtain too, but Mom says that clear shower curtain liners are about two bucks at the store, and we can make them too.

This one Mom says we can't make because the paint would wash off.  It's a bath mat with bloody foot prints on it on it.  The only problem we see with this is that our guests probably wouldn't see it because the shower curtain would be up and who ever pulls back the shower curtain to look inside someone's bath tub?
But Mom did say since the shower curtain liner is is so cheap, we could cut out a section in the middle of it so that guests could see into the tub and see the mat.

These were the top three choices Mom made for decorating our bathroom.  This is 'scary' stuff, so if you are planning a party for little kids, this might be a bit too gory for them. Our mom doesn't do 'kiddy' Halloween stuff though, so we will have a very scary house.
