Kids Halloween Books

Halloween is coming soon.  One of my school tasks is to read for 10-15 minutes every night, so we thought it would be fun to find some Halloween books.  For every day that Mom writes about what we read in our reading log, I get prizes at school, so I am definitely looking forward to reading, and reading about Halloween will be lots of fun.

Here are the books I'm choosing from Amazon...

This is a book Mom had never heard of, and it's really low priced.  It's also available on Kindle, but we don't have the Kindle Fire, which is the one that shows colors.  The very first review said "My 3 year old loved it," so that means it's good for me, or my little brother who is 4.  Mom said that if The Night Before Halloween  isn't at the library, we'll get it from Amazon.

Well... this one is a problem.  First of all, Mom and Dad were watching "Zombieland" last night.  I was supposed to be in bed, but I kept getting up to go out to the living room to see what they were doing, and the movie scared me.  Mom tried to tell me that the movie was a comedy, but I was still scared.  The only 1 star review this book got was from someone who said that the illustrations could be pretty graphic to a kid under 8.  I'm only 6.  Mom likes that it's a rhyming book, but says that Zombie-Kids may have to wait two more years.

This is actually more of a magazine than a book, but it has lots of craft ideas in it.  I love to do crafts, and so does my little brother.  Mom likes crafts and she LOVE, LOVE, LOVES, Halloween.  Mom also likes to use crafts and projects for doing my homework, so this would be great all around.

I'm not sure if there are any Halloween 'toys,' but we'll find out tomorrow.
