Yes you can. And not just for Halloween. You can write a story about anything. My mom found out about these Rory's Story Cubes
a while ago when a friend of hers told her that they are great for inspiration, or overcoming writer's block. They're dice with pictures on them. You roll the dice, look at the pictures, and make up a story from the pictures on the dice rolled.
This is a great way to teach kids reading and writing, and inspire imagination too.
